What is the difference between a SAMPLE warranty book and a LIVE warranty book?

SAMPLE BOOKS: HOME of Texas (and RWC) offers builders free sample warranty books for builders to show their clients what’s included in the warranty coverage. Samples can be used at contract signing, during walk-throughs, or with any prospective buyer who simply wants more info on the warranty.

LIVE BOOKS: The “live” warranty book is what your buyer will receive after closing in the form of a downloaded PDF. It is issued after you (the builder) enroll the home in our system. These are official legal documents, not marketing brochures, so we take care to make sure they are ONLY provided to bona fide homeowners. Because live warranty books are a legal document and can’t be shared for marketing purposes, we provide sample books in their place. These samples reflect the same content and format as the live books, with the addition of a sample watermark and disclaimer.
