HOME of Texas Announces Linda Hepler’s Retirement

lindaWhen a company has been around as long as HOME of Texas and its national affiliate Residential Warranty Company, LLC (RWC), it’s inevitable that eventually great, long-term employees will retire.  It is a bitter sweet announcement indeed to tell you that our very own Linda Hepler has made the difficult decision to retire.

For many of us, it’s hard to remember a time when Linda wasn’t an integral part of our business in Texas. In fact for 25 years, Linda was THE face of HOME in the Lone Star State. She was there to help builders with enrollment, membership and customer service issues, while constantly seeking out new members to add to our family. Her accumulated knowledge, expertise in the industry and unparalleled commitment to customer service made her both an exemplary employee, but even more, a consummate professional and an invaluable resource for our Members.

Linda has been a role model & mentor to many in this company. By her example, she taught others to be true to their word, and to treat others fairly and with respect. Her integrity and commitment to quality were major factors contributing to HOME’s reputation throughout the state over the last 25 years. Our industry is rather unique in the home building world, so it was always vital to have Linda be our staunchest advocate and supporter throughout the state. Not only did she bring passion to her career, she also shared with us the depths of who she is. It’s an amazing combination that has gained her respect among business associates, as well as friendship among her peers.

According to Kathy Foley, HOME of Texas/RWC Executive Vice President, “Linda has been more than an employee these past 25 years.  She has been a friend to co-workers, a mentor to new hires and an all-around good Samaritan to everyone who crossed her path.  She loved her job and the builders she served and will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.  We wish her only the best upon her retirement.  Happy trails old friend…until we meet again.”

So it is with a measure of sadness mixed with a vast amount of gratefulness that we wish Linda well on this next leg of life’s journey. We are deeply thankful for your contributions and we are so very proud of the impact you’ve made. Best wishes, Linda, on your retirement. Enjoy a rest that’s long overdue. Our gratitude for all you’ve done is immeasurable and your place in our hearts will remain forever.

We know you join us in wishing Linda all the best in her retirement. As we move forward, please allow your doors to be open as others do their best to carry on Linda’s tradition. We know you have choices in warranty providers and we are honored that you have chosen HOME.
