Linda Hepler has been a 'fixture' on the Texas horizon since 1991 for HOME of Texas. Building homes in Texas can be somewhat of a challenge due to the active soils of the area. Linda prides herself on being able to provide a comprehensive explanation and training in the technical standards and guidelines that govern building in such areas. Builders looking to become members of the HOME warranty rely on Linda to keep them informed of both the requirements for membership and for enrolling homes.
Demonstrating the value of home warranties to Builders is at the top of Linda's priority list. She works diligently with the staff of her Builder Members as well to be sure the enrollment paperwork and inspections go smoothly. She is always available to answer questions or even conduct training seminars for the sales people and coach them on ways to utilize the warranty book when dealing with homeowners.
As an active member in no less than 11 local building associations (Ft. Worth, Greater Dallas, El Paso, Temple Area, Texas Panhandle, Heart of Texas, Texas Capitol, Lubbock, Central Texas, Midland/Odessa and San Antonio), Linda devotes much time and energy to the industry. She participates on the Government Affairs Committee and regularly attends both local and state meetings. Additionally, Linda has done extensive work with Builders on interior and exterior decorating and has even won awards for Best Plan & Design for her landscaping work.
Linda has two grown sons, Paul and Tony, and resides in Boerne, TX with her husband Charles. Six grandchildren - 4 boys and 2 girls from college age to diaper age - keep Linda on her toes. She is an experienced rodeo rider who has won numerous awards for Team Penning. In fact, she and Charles were National Champions in 2 different divisions in 1997 in Albuquerque, NM and took home additional prizes by placing 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th as well! A true Texan, Linda is the Lone Star's answer when the question is how to 'round up' a warranty program.
