Chance Smith joined the HOME of Texas team in 2005 and brings with him vast experience in the world of home building, real estate and insurance. In addition to being a trained and knowledgeable warranty Account Executive, Chance is a licensed real estate agent, a licensed insurance producer and a licensed property & casualty insurance adjuster. But Chance has more than “book-learning” behind him. He has purchased numerous homes from banks and through HUD foreclosures, remodeled them and placed them back into market. This wide range of expertise provides Chance with a broader view of how HOME’s warranties and general liability insurance products can impact a builder’s business.

Chance was born in Longview, TX but moved to Alvin at the ripe old age of 3. He’s now a Pearland resident but has strong family ties in East Texas. Chance married his high school sweetheart, Katie, and they have recently been blessed with their first child, Morgan. When time allows they enjoy spending weekends at their bay house at San Luis Pass. Chance is an avid saltwater fisherman and hopes to pass along that outdoorsy spirit to his daughter someday. He also enjoys reading, hunting, and traveling as well as the companionship of his two dogs, Oscar, the weenie dog and Jager, his bird hunting partner.
